VW Transporter conversion parts for sale.

A lot of these parts are specific to the VW Transporter T5 – T6.1,  so NO I cant get you a pop top for your Hiace but can get them for Ford Transit.

The following products are manufactured to a specification accepted in NZ – they still need LVV certification once fitted. In Chch the LVV certifier has done many Pop-tops, RnR beds, swivel seat bases with no problems but if your in another town then your LVV certifier might not be familier with the parts. but all my conversions are registered on the main LVV database if he searches rego ‘GBVAN’ he will find a van + photos with all the parts fitted.
in Chch LVV certification is $900 this for everything (you pay per visit so it is best to have all your certifiable parts done at once) but the van has to be how its certified, if you put a swivel base in then decide to take it out and return it to std your supposed to inform the certifier of the change.

Pop top Roofs

you can fit these yourself if so deduct $2500 off the above price – certification will be your responsibility though.

The roofs come with a plywood bed platform which lifts up so you can stand in the van and a memory foam mattress. to make it a really comfy bed you may wish to upgrade to the Deluxe foli bed kit  these are what are fitted in the California.

Rock and Roll seats/bed

3/4 width Rock n bed, has seatbelts fitted folds flat to 6ft bed, these can be fitted in other vehicles BUT you would need to get a bolt plate under van manufactured to satisfy LVV. Seat comes with one to fit Transporter.

high temp spray adhesive $12 tin (you need 1 can per M)

Dodo matt sound deadening, stick this onto the van walls to reduce drumming noise.
10 sheets 0.9sqm $65 – you need about 50 sheets to do a LWB (exc roof)

Custom made Water tanks

These tanks are designed specifically to fit the T5-T6.1

The skirt tanks fit just inside the sill on the drivers side, total capacity of 48l. these can be fresh or grey water, i tend to use them as grey water as its easy for the sink to drain into them
These come with the mounting brackets and an assortment of hose.
$575 a pr.

If you have a 2WD these  tanks fit in front of your spare wheel and around it, i tend to use these as the fresh water tanks as you can mount the pump close under the van,  i pressure fill them via a hose which i run up into the engine bay.
